DOING GOD’S WILL

It’s a “Doing God’s Will” Wednesday.

LORD WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR PERFECT WILL IN OUR LIVES TODAY. AMEN.

When I went to bed last night I realized what I wanted to do more than anything in my life was as Dr. King said: “I just want to do GODS will!” Many people say the same thing. So beloved what are the elements of doing GODS will?

First, it must be something that has a Biblical foundation. It should be something that the Bible speaks about doing. It should be something positive. Will it make this a better world and more just society? Is it of GOD? Is it something that you are proud to tell others that you do?

Second, doing the will of GOD should be something that makes you a better person. It should be something that will make and help you grow mentally, emotionally and spiritually. It should be something that when you look back over your life you can say, “I’m a better person because I did that.”  It should be something that builds up your family name and not tear it down.

Lastly, doing the will of GOD should make life better for someone else. It should make things better for someone other than yourself. Our lives are not meaningful unless we are trying to serve and make our communities better. This is something I have always tried to do. In my own way I am trying to make this a better world for you and for me. That’s why I do these messages, so that you can be blessed like me. You see Beloved, I’m blessed when I share what GOD has given me with you. So my question for you today is: What are you doing in your life that you can say is the will of GOD?
