HE’S THE SAME CHRIST

It’s a “He’s The Same Christ” Wednesday

ETERNAL GOD OUR FATHER WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR SON JESUS WHO IS THE SAME EACH EVERYDAY. AMEN
Yesterday I shared about the fact that everything in life changes. We ourselves are ever-changing and so are our circumstances. All things around us are changing. Change seems to be the only permanent thing we have. We are living in an age of momentary change. We notice the process only when it has reached a certain degree, but it is going on incessantly. You cannot step into it once, because as you step into it, it is flowing for time is like a stream. We speak of the everlasting hills. But, of course if our lifespan were long enough we should witness the birth and death of worlds and even our solar system. Nations, which once were great and powerful, now belong to ancient history. The tall skyscrapers of vast and wonderful civilizations have collapsed and crumbled. Customs change. The fashion of one age would be the laughing-stock of another. Ideas change. New modes of thought, new points of view arise, which discard the old. Religions die. There was a time when people believed in the gods of Egypt, Babylon, Greece and Rome. Such believers are in obscurity today. The twentieth century has seen great changes in our conditions of life and our ideas. During recent years, many changes have abounded: political, national, international, economic, social and religious. We feel that we are on the eve of great changes still to come. Men try to picture the material improvement which science will affect soon. Some wonder whether the human race is going to destroy itself. But there is one place where we can find absolute permanence, eternal reliability, and this is in: “Jesus Christ who is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” This was a bold thing to say at the time it was first spoken and it seems no less bold a thing to say today. He is the same Christ of whom the Prophets spoke. Jesus the Christ was a topic of discussion by the Seers of old; as they peeped through the telescope of time, each one received a different revelation- yet, it was the same Christ. He is the same Christ that was “In the beginning with God,” who stepped from behind the curtain of nowhere, and stood on the stage of nothing and said: “Let there be light.” At the command of His voice, Cosmos crawled out of Chaos, thus setting forth an orderly creation functioning on an orderly schedule and the light came out of the darkness. He is the same Christ of New Testament Bible History. The Christ of the Prophets is the “Child born” who disturbed Herod on his Judean throne. He is the same Christ that was baptized in the Jordan River and received the pronouncement that He is the Son of God. He is the same Christ who in the course of events surrounding his stay on earth in the human flesh took his cross and went to Calvary- there died the ignominious death: but the same Christ arose the third day after the Golgotha experience and keeps on living. He is the same Christ of whom I testify today. Christ cannot be antiquated. He is alive today as he was when he drew the blueprint for the vast expanse of the universe. Christ is the most vital factor in modern life. He remains the same because he is always adapting Himself to changes. He suits Himself to every age. To every age He speaks in its own language of thought. He speaks to us now in the language of the twentieth century. Yes, I join those who have a personal knowledge of the living and unchanging Christ. Job exclaimed, “I know that my Redeemer liveth… Paul testified “Christ liveth in me…” Beloved, Jesus is eternally alive, and His concern for the lost is the same. He is present and near to us. Speak, He will hear. Stretch out your hand, He will grasp it. Ask Him for eternal life and He will give it to you. Yes, the man who “went about doing good, is on the spot to do you good.” So my question is, “How well do you know Jesus?”This is Rev Dr WM Rocky Brown, 3rd letting you know that GOD and I Love you and we approve this message because we want to motivate your mind, body & soul.

So be happy and enjoy the blessings of The LORD today my friend!
