It’s a “Use Your Religion” Day
LORD, HELP US TO BE STEADFAST AND STRONG IN OUR FAITH WHEN WE FACE HELLISH DAY-TO-DAY SITUATIONS. AMEN.
The other day I was talking to a church member, Sister Jones, and during the conversation, she told me about all the troubles she had during the past few months. The trouble she was having with her family, the trouble she was having on the job and trouble she was having with her friends. She ended with: “You know Rev all this trouble; it’s enough to make a person lose their religion.” I quickly responded with this “Seems to me, Sister Jones, all that trouble should make a person use their religion not lose their religion.”
Beloved, I know you are catching hell with your family, with your job, and with your social circle but don’t give up. Don’t give up and let the Devil win. Don’t give up on God. In the midst of all this hell, don’t lose your religion use your religion. So I ask you: “Are you using your religion?”
