It’s an “After The Storm Is Over” Day
LORD, WE GIVE YOU THE GLORY AND THE PRAISE FOR BRINGING US THROUGH THE STORMS OF LIFE. BECAUSE OF YOU WE HAVE THE VICTORY. AMEN.
Today we lift our hearts and voices to say: Thank You JESUS for Blessing Us to see a new day. Two days ago we talked about preparing for the storm. Yesterday we talked about dealing with the storm. So today I will share what to do after the storm.
The First thing we need to do is to Give GOD Thanks. Thank Him for His protection, guidance and love that helped you get through the storm.
Secondly, we need to have a testimony and tell somebody what GOD can do and has done for you. I’m reminded of that old church song: “I said I wasn’t gonna tell nobody, but I couldn’t keep it to myself, yes I couldn’t keep to myself what the LORD has done for me.”
Lastly, we need to prepare for the next storm by staying in communication with our Heavenly Daddy through Prayer and the Reading of HIS WORD. For Prayer is “Having a little talk with Jesus, telling HIM all about our troubles…having a little talk with Jesus will make it right. From reading HIS WORD, you will find that THE WORD is and will be a lamp to your feet and a light on your pathway. Yes, we made it through the storm, and I just want to say like the songwriter: “How I got over, how I got over, my soul looks back and wonder how I got over.” But then I know how it was HIS Grace and Mercy. Somebody ought to say, “HIS Grace and Mercy!” How did you get over?
