It’s a “Stop The Gossiping” Day
LORD, HELP US TO SPEAK THE TRUTH AND ALWAYS BRING HONOR AND PRAISE TO YOUR NAME TODAY AND EVERYDAY. AMEN.
You know we have a lot of problems in our communities, and one of the greatest of them is gossip. It has been a problem, and it will continue to be one because we love telling and being in other people’s business. It’s also an issue because for the most part it’s based on lies and negativity and all of us have participated in it by one way or another.
We are either spreading it or listening to it, and one is just as bad as the other. You see, I can’t spread gossip if you don’t listen. Gossip is so vicious that it has destroyed individual lives, families, organizations and even nations.
GOD calls us to speak only what we know to be true. For truth keeps us free and does not cause unearned suffering. We all have been spreaders of gossip and victims of gossip, so we know how it hurts. JESUS teaches us to treat others in the way we want to be treated.
So if you call yourself a Child of GOD, act like it and learn how to control your tongue. The Spirit of God says beloved mind your own business. In fact, get you some business and tell that. So the next time you decide to tell something let it be about you. Like I said, tell that! GOD says as they say in court: “Tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.” Can I get an AMEN…..UP IN HERE, UP IN HERE!
