DON’T QUIT

November 4th

It’s a “Don’t Quit” Day

LORD, GIVE US THE FAITH, TRUST, CONFIDENCE, HOPE AND STRENGTH TO HANG IN THERE AND NEVER GIVE UP. AMEN.

Here is a poem whose author is unknown. This poem has always motivated me when I was dealing with a struggle and wanted to give up. I share it with you today in hopes that it will motivate you to keep on, keeping on. It is entitled:

                                 “Don’t Quit”

“When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,

When the road you are trudging seems all up hill;

When the funds are low, and the debts are high,

And you want to smile, but you have to sigh;

When care is pressing you down a bit,

Rest if you must, but don’t you quit.

Success is failure turned inside out;

The silver tint of the clouds of doubt.

And you can never tell how close you are

It may be near when it seems afar;

So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit –

It’s when things seem worse that you mustn’t quit.”

My friend hang in there. God is with you. The victory is yours. If you trust and never doubt He will surely give you the strength and bring you out. I’m a witness. How about you? Do you trust Him? God says: “My children don’t you quit!”
