It’s a “Tokyo” Day
GOD, GRANT US THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS WE CANNOT CHANGE. THE COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS WE CAN, AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE. AMEN.
One day, a little boy was observed by his Pastor, in church praying very fervently; but much to the pastor’s surprise, he was also heard to say from time to time, “Tokyo, Tokyo, Tokyo.” So when the service was over the minister went up to the boy and said, “Son, I was very pleased to see you praying so devoutly, but please tell me why did you keep saying, “Tokyo, Tokyo, Tokyo.” The little boy replied, “Well you see, sir, I have just finished taking my geography examination in school, and I have been praying to the Lord to make Tokyo the capital of France!” LOL.
Beloved, no matter how much we pray there are some things The Lord won’t change. Therefore, we have to accept them the way they are. Can I get a witness?
