It’s a “12 Disciples” Day.
LORD, HELP US TO BE COMMITTED ENOUGH TO FOLLOW YOU, LIKE YOUR FIRST DISCIPLES. AMEN.
There were 12 Blessed Disciples, and the Gospels gives their names. First, there is Andrew, John, Peter, Bartholomew and James. Matthew, Simon, and Thomas were friends both tried-and-true. Then there’s Philip, James, and Thaddeus. Then there’s the traitor Judas too. They followed Christ, the Master over the mountain, shore, and sea. They also went to Samaria, Judea, Perea, and certainly Galilee. Do you love Him enough to be a Disciple and follow Him? Do you? Are you sure? Well, act like it!
